MINI - GRANT INFORMATION

The Greater Cincinnati Council of Teachers of Mathematics offers mini-grants to its membership each year.  A subcommittee of the Executive Council will review each application on the basis of how well they fulfill the applicable NCTM Principals and Standards and the new Ohio Academic Content Standards, with an emphasis on the awarding of materials which can be used for several years by the recipient and his/her students.  The maximum amount of any one grant is $100 to first year members and pre-service teachers and up to $250 to anyone who has continued their membership for more than one year.  Up to 6 grants will be awarded and may be given in each of the following grade levels: Pre-service, K-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, college, and preservice teachers.   Winners from the previous year are not eligible for a grant this year.
